It’s produced in partnership with Gasharu Coffee, founded in 1973 by Celestin Rumenerangabo, whose journey reflects resilience and renewal. During the Rwandan genocide (1978-1994), he and his family were forced to flee, despite running a business that served Rwandan farmers. Later, they returned to Rwanda to rebuild both their farm and their community. Today, Gasharu Coffee works with more than 1,650 local farmers, 70% of whom are women, cultivating coffee rooted in heritage, empowerment, and quality.
